BEIJING-- The high-performance, inexpensive synthetic intelligence model released just recently by Chinese startup DeepSeek has developed a wave of attention around the globe. DeepSeek-R1 appears to offer efficiency that rivals options from the U.S., trade-britanica.trade but the company says it was developed at less than a tenth of the cost of those models. Chinese technology news portal 36Kr talked to the founder, wiki.whenparked.com Liang Wenfeng, fishtanklive.wiki in July 2024.
